There are two opportunities to raise funds directly connected to the award. On September 17, 2012, we will be holding the 2012 Wayman Tisdale Annual Golf Classic. The actual Tisdale Award gala and presentation will be scheduled in the spring of next year, where the award honoree and his coach will be in attendance. In both of these events, sponsorships and tables, as well as individual tickets, will be marketed to generate money for the charitable effort.

As mentioned above, The Wayman Tisdale Foundation is already in place and a portion of the funds raised by the effort will go to support their effort.
